The EcoSquared Fair will focus on Ecological/Economic topics with a daily theme.
Each day will have several workshops, a keynote speaker and many booths. It will
also include: an Earth-Friendly Fashion Show, Recycled Clothing Contests, a Farmer's
Market and special Open Class categories for recycled and
organic items.

COMING TO PINE RIVER at
Cass County Fair Grounds
AUGUST 21-24, 2008!
Bluegrass
music will drift across the forests and lakes of northern Minnesota next August
in Pine River! The Lakes Bluegrass Festival is renewing its tradition with a four
day bluegrass festival at the Cass County Fairgrounds in Pine River August 23
through August 26, 2007.
Nationally known bands such as David Davis and the
Warrior River Boys, Pine Mountain Railroad, The Faris Family, Michelle Nixon &
Drive, Cedar Creek and TheMartin Family, will pick and grin on stage along with
other regional and local bands. Check out the website below for information on
advance tickets, camping availability and other event information.

Step
back to a simpler time, when the county fair was the highlight of the year for
country folk. Pine River is the home of the Cass County Fair, where the Ferris
wheel turns, the livestock arena bustles, the concession stands are busy and the
4-H youth proudly display their work.The Cass County fairgrounds are on the north
end of Pine River - right off highway 371.
