Fix-It Clinic & Clothing Swap Saturday, November 3rd

Happy Dancing Turtle is delighted to offer two new events on the same day in Pine River! On Saturday, November 3rd from 9:30am to 12:30pm visit the Hunt Utilities Group Resilient Living Campus to participate in a Fix-it Clinic and/or a Clothing Swap.

Fix-it Clinics offer a great way for folks, with the help of volunteer “fixers”, to repair household items. Bring small appliances, lamps, wooden furniture, broken cables, fans, and other items. Must be small enough to be carried in and out. Additionally, if you have parts or tools to aid in the repair, bring them along. *Volunteers will do their best to rehab your item though there is no guarantee of success.

On the same day at the same time, in a different building- join a clothing swap! Looking to turn-over some of your wardrobe or simply clean out the closet? Out with the old and in with the new! Have kids’ items that are outgrown but still in good shape? Join us for a swap! Bring items that are clean, in good working order, and ready for a new home – clothing, footwear, and accessories. Special focus on winter wear for kids through adults (coats, hats, mittens/gloves, boots, scarves, etc). No cost to bring or take home items! Questions, give us a call at 218-587-2303 or email
